Edinburgh’s first regular Musical Theatre Cabaret night at Edinburgh Playhouse’s Cocktail Bar, the Boards.

William Davey

Will is currently ensemble / cover Johnny Castle in the UK touring production of Dirty Dancing.

Will trained at Arts Educational Schools London.

Theatre credits include: Brother Reuben in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (UK tour), ensemble in Dick Whittington,Camberley Panto, ensemble in Chelmsford panto.

Rosa O’Reilly

Rosa is currently playing Elizabeth in the UK touring production of Dirty Dancing.

Theatre includes: understudy Meat in We Will Rock You (Dominion theatre, west end), understudy and played Eponine in Les Misérables (International tour, Barbican and Anniversary Concert at the O2 Arena, London), Jasmine in Aladdin (Clyde auditorium, Glasgow).

Recordings include: Les miserables 25th anniversary tour cast recording, Maria in The Postman and the Poet (Jay Records).

Film includes: Les Misérables directed by Tom Hooper.

Wayne Smith

Wayne is currently starring in hit musical Dirty Dancing as it tours the UK, playing Billy Kostecki.

Theatre includes: Bob Crewe in Jersey Boys (Prince Edward); Neil Sedaka in Laughter in the Rain (UK tour); Ray in Dreamboats and Petticoats (UK tour); Ricky Nelson in The Concert They Never Gave (UK tour) and Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (UK tour).

Television includes: Grease is the Word (ITV) where he got to week three of the live TV finals.

Other work includes: various engagements as a production show vocalist working mainly in the north of England.

Andrew Gowland

Andrew trained as an actor at the Birmingham School of Speech and Drama (now Birmingham School of Acting), The College of Visual and Performing Arts, Kutztown University, USA, and the Royal Academy of Music, London.
He was Principal Singer and Company Manager for Belinda King Creative Productions onboard the QM2 for Cunard. He was thrilled to be invited by Conor Mitchel to perform in his new musical Mathilde at the Edinburgh Festival 2008, directed by Simon Callow and starring Frances Ruffelle and Anton Stephans. Other Theatre credits include: Dandini in Cinderella (Millfield Theatre); Aladdin (CMC) Wishie Washie; Carnaby Street (Dir. Murray Grant) Skye; Jack and the Beanstalk (Theatre North) Jack; A Man of No Importance (European Premier, Jack Lyons Theatre – Matt Ryan) Breton Beret & Dance Captain; Murderous Instincts (Savoy Theatre, Original West End Cast – Dir. Bob Carlton) understudying the roles Christopher and Miguel; The Oriana Theatre Company (CMC Ltd) as a Singer; Women Beware Women (Birmingham Hippodrome) The Ward; The Sea (Crescent Theatre – Dir. Ruth Carney) Hollarcut; The Mystery Of Edwin Drood (USA) Neville Landless; Into The Woods (Birmingham Hippodrome – Dir. Paul Kerryson) The Baker; and contracts for Chris Moreno and Paul Elliot on board Aurora for P&O World Cruises. In 2005/06 Andrew won an Ian Fleming Musical Theatre Award and was also the recipient of a Musical Theatre Grant from the Lionel Bart Foundation.

Andrew has been teaching in the UK and in the USA (for the Actors Outlet Drama School) for several years and is Managing Director of The MGA Academy.

Amy Wood

Amy started her full-time training in 2008 with a 2-year HND in Musical Theatre at Telford College, Edinburgh. She followed this with an Advanced year at MGA Academy of Performing Arts, Edinburgh, to prepare for professional work. After completing her year at MGA in June 2011, she went straight into her first professional contract with Ted Talent working at First Choice Holiday Village in Rhodes. She went on to do a full season in 2012 again with Ted Talent, this time at First Choice Holiday Village Egypt. While there she had a lead role in production shows, did presenter work and had her own acoustic set and solo cabaret.
