Cynthia Gentle

Cynthia Gentle is one of the most exciting new voices on the jazz, blues soul scene.

She is based in Edinburgh, and this city of culture’s influence is reflected in her performance, as is a childhood diet of her father’s eclectic collection (Bay City Rollers to Sankomota and everything in between).

She cites the great ladies of song, such as Miriam Makeba, Ella Fitzgerald and Anita Baker, but she …has let life itself provide a wider source of inspiration.
